What time of year can I get my parking lot or driveway installed?
We can installed parking lots and driveways year round, depending on the weather.
 
How long will my asphalt driveway last?
A properly installed driveway can last up to twenty years with the proper maintenance. Harrison Paving provides seal coating and crackfilling, which protects your asphalt and keeps your parking lot or driveway looking new. We use state-of-the-art equipment and high-quality materials to ensure longevity in our projects.
 
How long will it take to install a parking lot or driveway?
A driveway usually takes 1 day to complete. A parking lot will usually take 2 days depending on the size. The first day is spent prepping and cleaning the site. The second day is when the actual paving process takes place. Weather may also impact the length of time it takes.
 
How long do I wait before I can walk and drive on my parking lot or driveway?
You can feel free to walk on your pavement immediately after it is installed. We recommend that you wait at least 3 full days before driving a vehicle on your pavement.
 
What is your warranty on asphalt services?

For over 50 years, Harrison Paving has provided exceptional asphalt and concrete paving services for our satisfied customers. We are fully licensed and insured, and we are proud to be a member of the Better Business Bureau. We offer a one year warranty (from the date of completion) for material and workmanship on all of our asphalt paving projects unless otherwise indicated. If you are unhappy for any reason, please call us at 215-245-2010.

Over time, asphalt will harden and naturally form cracks. Tiny, hairline cracks are unavoidable and do not require any corrective action. However, if the crack expands to ¼” x ¼” deep it could cause long-term structural damage. Harrison Paving will fill any ¼” x ¼” cracks that form in regular asphalt within the first year at no charge. We will fill any ¼” x ¼” cracks that form in a rubber asphalt mix within the first three years at no charge. Our warranty does not cover cracks that form along the open edges of asphalt. You can reduce or eliminate this type of cracking by properly backfilling and seeding and also by not driving close to or over the edge.

Our warranty covers excessive cracking and crumbling of the surface within the first year. The warranty is not valid if the base work was performed by another company. When paving over existing asphalt, concrete, or brick, we are not responsible for any cracks or expansion joints that may occur.

We truly care about our customers and we want to ensure that you enjoy working with Harrison Paving. Our crews are respectful of your property and will be as careful as possible with their equipment while on your property. If you notice any property damage, please report it to us immediately so we can resolve the issue. Likewise, we will notify immediately if we notice any property damage.

Please alert us to all underground items such as pet fences, sprinkler systems, buried conduit, etc.  before we begin digging. Harrison Paving will make a call to Diggers Hotline before we begin. It is their job to mark all utility lines, so we cannot be responsible for any damage done due to unmarked utility lines.
